யார் இந்திய முஸ்லிம்களின் தேசப்பற்று குறித்து சந்தேகம் எழுப்பும் நபர்களின் கருத்தை மாற்றுவதற்கு மோடியின் பேட்டி அமையும் என நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்தார் .

எனினும், மோடியும் , அவரது கட்சியை சார்ந்தவர்களும் முஸ்லிம்கள் குறித்து கூறிய கடந்த கால அறிக்கைகள், குஜராத் கலவரங்கள் ஆகியவற்றை முஸ்லிம்கள் மறந்துவிடுவார்கள் என்று நினைத்தால் அது தவறு என்று கூறினார்.

தேசபற்றை நிரூபிக்க பிரதமரின் சான்றிதழ் எங்களுக்கு தேவையில்லை. நாங்கள் ஏற்கனவே நாட்டிற்காக போராடியும், உயிரை தியாகம் செய்தும் இருக்கிறோம் என்று அவர் குறிப்பிட்டார்.
